Check out the Space Society of Auraria (SSA) but be warned, they're ASS backwards. The SSA is a newly formed student club at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver. They encourage creative thought in the fields of astronomy, physics and engineering. They are host of astronomical viewing events and creative student gatherings. Officially, the Space Society of Auraria is registered as a club at the Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD) and the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD) but you do not need to be a student at the Auraria Campus to be a student of the knowledge they encourage. Everyone is welcome to join in their educational fun.

Science for non-Scientists is a newly created class offered at the Colorado Free University (CFU). With teacher Annii Andrew you can explore some Fascinating Facts of Nature. Fall 2008 and winter 2009 the curriculum will include astronomy and cosmology, geology and paleontology, and psychology and evolution. Everyone is welcome to participate in Annii's class but please be sure to register through the Colorado Free University. Annii Andrew is Thinkers, Inc.'s founder, President of The Space Society of Auraria, teacher of Science for non-Scientists and a physics major at the University of Colorado at Denver. As well as receptionist and research assistant at Thomasson Partner Associates (have to pay rent somehow).
